Dr. Jacobs was truly exceptional. We cannot speak highly enough of his surgical expertise, precision, and outstanding bedside manner. The outcome of the procedure exceeded our expectations, and we are incredibly grateful for his care and attention throughout the entire process.
Just know that if you are getting gynecomastia surgery with Dr Jacobs there is a chance you will receive liposuction only without gland excision. He makes no mention of this prior to surgery. He tells you that he will "remove the whole gland via a nipple incision, and fill in the space with surrounding fat tissue". When you wake up however, he tells you that he didn't need to go through the nipple. I had gynecomastia surgery with Dr Jacobs 2 months ago. Dr jacobs is a great doctor and surgeon. Everything has gone very smoothly. Consultation was amazing. He was kind, thorough, intelligent, and most importantly, not aggressive or pushy to doing the surgery. In fact, I waited almost a year to do the surgery after the consultation due to my own irrational fears, which I now regret. Theres really nothing to do be afraid of. The surgery was a breeze. After promising gland removal, Dr Jacobs did only liposuction (overly aggressively) without gland removal. He informed me of this when I woke up much to my unpleasant surprise. Be aware that he is known for doing this. When I showed him pictures months later of the clearly left over gland, he told me it was just scar tissue and to come back down to Florida for a steroid shot.
