Dr Pickford and her team are amazing. Before I saw them, no paediatrician, GP, hospital or specialist could tell me what was wrong with my failure to thrive baby, resulting in anaphalyxis and an ambulance officer in the end suggesting my baby was allergic to milk. Dr Pickford came to my rescue, diagnosing my son and, with her dietitian Jane, was able to help my baby get on the charts and thrive. I am forever grateful for their help and advice!
My wife and I are glad we took our daughter to Paediatrix and will gladly follow up in the following year. Thank you to all. To anyone that sees this review, don’t let the negative reviews detract you from taking your child here! It could be the difference between knowing and not knowing what caused a severe allergic symptom. This is a valued service in The Hills community.
Dr Elizabeth Pickford is insightful, experienced, pragmatic and genuinely a caring practitioner. Her consultation with my son was thorough and in-depth and I left feeling confident in the future management of my son’s food allergies. During the skin prick testing she showed empathy and kindness to my two year old and minimised his discomfort. Dr Pickford is absolutely amazing!! I can’t thank her enough for the way she has helped my son. My son has moderate-severe atopic dermatitis, which has caused him to suffer with horrendous flare ups since birth. After years of seeing countless GPS and specialists with little to no improvement, Dr Pickford was the only one who could identify the causes and develop a plan to successfully manage it.
