Dimitri Dermatology is filled with inept, unprofessional and dismissive staff (including the owner Dr Elizabeth Dimitri). Do not go there if you feel you and your family deserve the best as they are incapable of providing it. Do not go there unless you are wanting unnecessary stress in your life. And that stress will begin with your inability to get anyone to answer the phone at any given time and will progress through your whole experience. I was scheduled 5 times to have a teleconference (due to virus) with Dr. Dimitri at the request of NP Belinda, to discuss the results of my biopsies. It's been 2 weeks and I still have not had a conference with the doctor. The last 2 conferences, I didn't even receive a phone call saying they were postponed. I sat around all day on Friday and Monday waiting for a phone call that never came. I just haven't had any response to the visits that were set up by her office. I went into the office today and saw Sara she made me feel so at easy with my skin condition. I can not wait to go back!!!
Dr. Dimitri took the time to go over different treatment options for a skin cancer that I had. Great Experience
I love Dr. Dimitri and Sara in the Slidell office
I like Dr Dimitri, she is very good on determining how to treat your condition. What I don't like is if I schedule to see her (Dr. Dimitri), I want to see her not someone else. My appointment was with Dr. Dimitri, waited 45 minutes then was called to go into the room. A few minutes later another dermatologist came in and said that she was going to see me. I told this person I made an appointment to see Dr. Dimitri, not you. I cancelled appointment and got my money back.
There was no wait to speak of, and we were brought to the back almost immediately. Dr. Dimitri put me at ease. She removed a mole on my arm and healed very well. I would recommend her.
I have been a loyal patient of Elizabeth Dimitri for many years. I thought it was time to post a review. She has made a dramatic difference in my skin. She gives me easy at home regimens that make sense. I have no more acne, breakouts or clogged pores. I have followed her to a few offices. All of which are impecably clean and well maintained. Everyone in her office is as welcoming and positive as she is. Understand that she will care for your skin like it is her own.
I want to take the time to say that I LOVE the Slidell office. The nurses and provider are the BEST I have ever had any contact with. Whenever I call about a issue they always call me right back and help. This is one of the doctor offices I actually feel like they care.
