Both of my kids saw Dr. Huffman when they were babies up until we moved back to the East Coast. She’s so wonderful and I miss her so much! Having a baby can be so anxiety provoking, especially the first one when you don’t know what’s normal, not normal, or what you’re doing. Dr. Huffman was a call or email away and provided reassurance and also investigated if anything seemed suspicious. She took all my concerns seriously and helped ease my fears. If we ever move back, we’ll be going right back to her.
To be fair, Dr. Huffman seems to be a nice person and is knowledgable. We visited her 3 times for our newborn's regular checks, and we were satisfied, until we see the bills. Our insurance covers regular checks, but Dr. Huffman finds ways to charge more. For example, during one of the visit, we unintentionally said that the baby didn't sleep well, and chatted a few minutes about the sleep. Dr. Huffman is awesome! We have been going to her for over a year now. She is polite, listens to your questions and explains clearly. I haven’t had any issues getting a hold of her online for non-urgent matters. I do hope that their urgent care appointment availability improves so we don’t have to resort to going to non-pediatric urgent care.
Dr. Huffman is a wonderful pediatrician. She has always made us feel more than welcome. We highly recommend her.
