Wouldn’t go here again unless it was the last eye doctor on the planet. Have never met a ruder, more dismissive doctor in my life than Dr. Maher. Spent the first 20 minutes detailing how she couldn’t help me based on what the referral doctor said, and then complaining about the referral doctor. When I mentioned “dry eye” I guess she finally remembered she was a doctor and actually examined me for that and noted that there actually was a problem. The way she spoke to her PA about me, as if I wasn’t even in the room, was the l... read more

I was seen about 45 minutes past my appointment, only to feel dismissed. My concerns weren’t taken seriously, and she told me my eyelids felt normal, despite not palpating them, and only did that afterwards, without gloves or sanitizing in the room prior to the exam. She handed me another referral and kept repeating that "she is a surgeon and can't treat me" and that I should seek help elsewhere. I left frustrated and unheard. Her matter-of-fact tone lacked empathy and she was not kind. Would not recommend.

Dr Maher removed two cysts in the corner of my spouse's eye. He has dementia. She reassured me and afterward called him a "perfect patuent." He is very pleased with the outcome. I recommend Dr Maher in every way. Busy office but worth the wait.
