She cares about her clients, she takes the time to sit and talk, no 15 minute visits. Very thorough!
Dr. Burkey caught my thyroid cancer that another primary care doctor hadn't even bothered to check for. She's very knowledgable but quick to admit when it would be better to see a specialist. She's also very compassionate. The one star I took off is for the practice - appointments are very short and it would be great if they could modernize their website a bit/ make online appointment scheduling happen. If you can possibly book two appointments in a row I would recommend that if you have more than one issue to be addressed.

Dr. Burkey has been treating me for 6 years now. It is always such a positive experience. She is patient, smart, knowledgeable, and takes the time to answer all my questions. The office staff is pretty awesome and it's usually a short wait once I check-in. Of all the family medicine physicians I've encountered, she is by far the best. A+ all around for this practice.
When she talks like a baby, you really can't take her professionally. Staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Worst experience ever. She cancelled on me several times because she set up unnessisary tests that my insurance would not cover.
