I waited longer to see her than with her in the room. She did not check anything or seem to care about what I had concerns with. She just stayed for a total of 3 minutes dismissed a couple of things and walked out. That day I looked for a new OBGYN
I have to say Dr.Carman has been amazing from start to finish with my Partial Hysterectomy. Good reviews often go without and I find it so important to write about the good. From the moment I met her, I had an immediate sense of “I am in good hands”. She was patient, explanatory, and such a pleasant vibe. Please DO NOT CHOOSE THIS DOCTOR. ***and here is my story. I had Dr. Carman for my gyno for about two years. She’s was ok. Her staff always rude and didn’t pay attention to detail, but I stayed. I started having really bad bleeding due to fibroids. Since I’m 42 at the time and two children she suggested a hysterectomy. I was ok with it. I’m not going to explain or go into how her office messed up the pre testing…BUT I had a gut feeling. Her bed side manner is TERRIBLE. Anyway, I go in to get my procedure done. I called after hours when she was on call. She said it was Friday night and she’s out and doesn’t have my chart. I called back again requesting another doctor on call. 15 minutes later someone named “ Jacob” who wouldn’t identify himself further and sounded like he was calling from a bathroom stall said I can’t speak with dr Carmen.
