I woke up one morning and the front part of my left leg was numb from knee to ankle. I immediately thought I had suffered a stroke. I went to Dr. Itano as an expert orthopedic doctor, and she immediately put my mind at ease that it was not a stroke, but rather "drop foot." What a relief! I started physical therapy and immediately saw results. I highly recommend Dr. Itano, and thank you!
Thanks for letting me know about having to have a referral from my primary care provider 1 hour before my appointment. Without that referral, I am not allowed to be seen for my appointment that was scheduled almost a month in advance. Yet another convenience. I call you back with the phone number you provide me with and it takes me to an “after hours” line when you’re clearly open, not allowing me to get ahold of anyone. Dr. Itano is first class in every way. I have a L5 disc extrusion which causes sciatica and severe pain on and off. Dr. Itano took a full hour to sit down with me and walk me through my MRI, explained my diagnosis then presented a plan of attack to get better. She is extremely smart, empathetic and I just can't say enough how glad I am to have found her to work through these unfortunate issues with. Dr. Itano was great! I am so glad I found her. She was attentive and took the time to listen to me. I really appreciate the respect and patience she showed during my visit. I highly recommend her and will definitely go back for any other health needs.
