Sayville Stony Brook pediatric office is not accessible for a stroller. I have a 1 year old and that is part of the reason I have to switch her PCP. We saw Dr Patel one time and she seemed absolutely bored to be there. I brought up concern about my daughter having 7 teeth and inquiring if I should have brought her to a dentist already, she told me to wait until my daughter is 2.. which I am now finding out from dentists is ludicrous. I was a visiting grandma from Pa who was able to attend my grandsons well check up. As a health care provider myself, I was greatly appreciative of the thorough exam my grandson received. From the first initial welcome upon arrival to our departure I was very impressed. Highly recommend this pediatrician.
