Dr Chan has changed the lives of my parents, in such a positive way. He is so knowledgeable about their various conditions ( high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, etc),vand takes the time, with great patience, to explain their conditions and medicines with them. Dr Chan treats my parents with such respect as if they were his own parents. It gives me peace of mind as well as a sense of gratitude, that there is a first rate physician who cares so deeply about the health of each one of his patients.
He listens very well and don't feel rushed. He genuinely cares about my well being and 100% trust his recommendation for prescription and strategy to get me back to the best I can be from a health perspective
All the nice people in the office and all the nice experiences in the treatment room do not make up for the complete incompetence of trying to fill a prescription. Call centers have a value in todays world, but this office needs to set some rules in place so that a patient can talk with the office on Wickum Road. 2 days, 2 visits to the office and 3 pharmacies later and they still have not got it right.
I have been with Dr. Chan for years. Always courteous and professional and without the non-personal clinical approach. I wouldn't even consider another primary care doctor.
I have been seeing Dr. Chan for sometime now as my PCP. He has always been caring and professional. My last visit with him, he spent a good amount of time with me answering my questions, going over test results, and explaining in detail my overall health issues. I Highly recommend him!
I have seen Dr.Chan 2 times and have now made the switch for him to be my Primary Doctor. Suntree Internal Medicine is very professional and fast. Dr.Chan is very knowledgeable and caring. He listens to my concerns and followed up by calling and checking on my progress. I now feel 100% better and am so grateful. Shannon is also on staff and is amazing. The staff at the check-in and check-out counters are very friendly and always have smiles on their faces. I won't go anywhere else!
Dr Chan has been my doctor for nearly 7 years, and he is very accommodating if I have a request for something. He is not as thorough as I would like, and is very quick to write prescriptions without delving deeper into the cause. He does seem quite knowledgeable. The biggest issue I have is with Suntree Internal Medicine. When you call you never get a human being and the message says they will call you back in 24 business hours - that 3 days, totally unacceptable!! No follow up from them.
Without Dr. Chan's expertise, I would not be writing this. He found a problem with my heart and had me schedule certain cardiac tests to define the problem. When all the reports were in, I had surgery to correct the defect. He is patient, caring, and extremely knowledgeable.
Takes time to answer questions and is always friendly which makes it easy to discuss all recommended treatments.
