Dr Kofsky and his staff are very compassionate people. Dr Kofsky is an excellent surgeon and would highly recommend him. Very busy surgeon but always had time when we had questions!
The man has good hands guided by an intelligent, focused brain.
Amazing care! Fantastic physician with caring competent staff!
In 12/05/18 I saw Dr Posadas with my mri in hand. He sent me for a $3600.00 scan with contrast because the mri wasn’t good enough for him to assess me. 01/18/2019 testing center said results would arrive in two days. I called Winchester surgical clinic 3 times and there was no followup by Dr Posadas or anyone else. On 03/06/2019 I called again and spoke with a nurse who relayed a message from Dr Posadas, some organization your drs have. My medical issues remain. Rating = zero.
Dr Kofsky was the most passionate surgeon I have ever met. If you ever need open heart surgery I would highly recommend seeing him. He made my family and I feel very comfortable through the whole process and we can never thank him enough.
It took me over a month to get in for an appointment. Once I got an appointment, the doctor had made up his mind that he could not help me before even listening to all of my symptoms and history. I wasted time and money to be told that I just needed to seek pain management. Being under 30 years old, and having documentation that I received an injury internally during recent surgery, this is unacceptable. I did not feel heard, understood, or cared for whatsoever. I will not be returning.
MY FATHER SPENT 46 IN THE HOSPITAL, BEING INTUBATED AND ALMOST LOSING HIM 3 DIFFERENT TIMES HE WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GO HOME WITH HIS FAMILY. HE IS LIVING WITH A TRACH AND SIDE EFFECTS FROM A STROKE. MY FATHER HAD TO AGAIN GO TO THE ER WITH WORSENING SYMPTOMS AND DR KOCHINSKY TOLD US HE WASNT GOING TO RACK UP ANOTHER $10,000 BILL AND SAID HIS SYMPTOMS WERE JUST AFTER EFFECTS OF HIS STROKE AND HE WOULD NOT DO AN MRI. THE WMC STAFF WERE SURPRISED AT HIS PROFESSIONALISM AND ASSIGNED US A NEW DR.
While it was clear he was thinking, it was not clear what options I had or that my wishes were part of the calculation. His "bedside" manner is impoverished as he seems to be talking at you and not with you. The decision-making process doesn't seem to be a shared endeavor. Questions about alternatives are mostly responded to dismissively. I had some concerns about the protocol's currency and his tools. I changed doctors because he did not engender trust in me.
No matter what time of day our appointments were, the office was usually 40+ minutes behind. Two out of four messages left on the nurses line were never returned. Most importantly, Dr. Dunn ignored my concerns regarding symptoms my child repeatedly had. We took the child to another doctor, and soon discovered that our child has a food intolerance. Had Dr. Dunn addressed the concern, my child would not have had as much damage to her digestive tract.
