I have nothing but praise for Dr Kofsky and the care I received at WMC
No one wants to have surgery but if needed you surely want the best qualified Dr., and that was how I felt about Dr, Kofsky. I truly felt that I was in safe hands. And I was. I would recommend Dr. Kofsky without reservation to all in need of his expertise. Thank you, Dr, Kofsky for leading the TAVR surgery that helped me so much. I would also like to add kudos to Dr. Jason Call for being on the team. Both physicians are a definite asset to Winchester Medical Center's Heart and Vascular. Very upbeat and knowledgeable
Dr. Kofsky was very detail oriented and was personable. I was in the hospital for 5 days with an unexplained fever and high white count after heart surgery. This had happened to me in the past with surgeries and he was very receptive to listening to my historical account. He did not discharge until he located my problem and fixed it. He thought nothing of calling in experts in infectious disease to help clarify the issue and provide additional opinions. This man persevered until he solved my problem. He saved my life.
The whole team is amazing and treated my mom (who has dementia) wonderfully and with gentle understanding. She came through the surgery in great shape and is doing very well. I would recommend the team to anyone needing a heart valve replacement.
Dr Warner is attentive, patient, and well-informed. He offers advice and allows me time to contemplate my options. Very supportive. His staff provide very good support.
