'very knowledgable, caring and takes time to listen to the patient.
Shows genuine concern. He has helped me get my life back. After years and years of seeing many Dr.s and taking many different med combinations, Dr. Melton has helped me feel like a normal person again.
Dr.Melton is always caring and compassionate. He is professional, yet easy to talk to. He also takes care to be sure meds are working for you! He is so amazing that I even recommend him to my family and friends. Not to mention the kindness of his staff!
Best doctor and staff! Highly recommend!!!
He is very good and really seems to care. Out of all the Dr's I have seen through the years he scores very high on my list.
I've posted a review before, in 2018, and my opinion of Dr. Melton has not changed. He's interested in how I'm doing and keeps track of how my meds are working. I have video appointments now and have only waited about 15 minutes over for any appointment. I don't always agree perfectly with him but he has never done or prescribed anything for me that would be detrimental to my mental or physical health. He's very friendly and keeps me comfortable, which is important to me because of my stress level. I would recommend him to a... read more
I went in for treatment for PTSD, generalized anxiety and treatment resistant major depressive disorder. The first three sessions were okay. He was very pleasant, if habitually late to come in and see me, and the girls in the office as well as the assistants were all lovely and attentive. He would not listen to me when I told him I suspected that I had undiagnosed ADD, however, and when I spent a few months on the medication he prescribed me with little effect, I went in to my fourth appointment and told him what little posi... read more
I was struggling with the side effects of my bipolar mental disorder and had only been prescribed an antidepressant with no mood stabilizer which is a given for anybody that's bipolar however even Laurette failed to help me long term bc of $$$ Dr Melton truly cares about his patients and knowing the Crysis I was facing mentally and emotionally, Dr.Melton got me in and gave me half price for the visit and didn't care about the money cared more about helping me get the medicines I need so that I can be functional and good for ... read more
He is an arrogant, dangerous and dishonest man. He was treating me for a bi-polar disorder, which I don't have, and I was feeling worse day by day. I told him that, but he wouldn't listen. When Iinformed him that I was seeking a second opinion, he refused to release my records, claiming that they were his(!) property. When I voiced my disagreement, I was told that I was disturbing the peace and scaring off patients, and if I didn't leave the premises immediately, they would call the police.
