It’s been 27 years since this guy tried to deliver our baby boy. I say try because if it wasn’t for the nurse, our child probably wouldn’t of survived. Dr Szmuc made what was supposed to be the best day of our lives, a total nightmare. Our baby was in distress and the delivery was not going smoothly. Based on the other comments no one should go to this guy omg
Not a good doctor. He doesn't seem to use updated information, acts superior and condescending, and blows off patient concerns. After having suffered 2 consecutive late-term pregnancy losses, his plan for my new pregnancy was to make no changes. He also told me that it wasn't important to treat my thyroid issue. Thank God I found a wonderful perinatologist in the area who ran a clotting panel and got me on blood thinners. She also treated my thyroid and I've had three healthy children with her help.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else he has delivered all 4 of my babies.
He's not very knowledgeable and doesn't stay up to date with current medical information. He's condescending and awful, because of his lack of knowledge my wife had to have an emergency c section because either he was lazy or uneducated on her high risk pregnancy. Her new obgyn was shocked at her poor care and lack of information szmuc didn't know. Im not sure where he got his education but he needs to go back and continue it.
