The only reason this doctor has a 1.5-star rating is because Google doesn't allow zero stars. It's genuinely unclear what his role is beyond criticizing primary care providers. If everything is supposed to be handled by my primary care doctor, then why was I referred to a specialist in the first place? I expected specialized care and insight—not deflection and finger-pointing. Frankly, you're better off researching your symptoms online than wasting time here. I was referred to Dr. Chin from my primary doctor. I had to have bloodwork done after taking methimazole 10mg. After the lab work came back, i was told i need to start taking 5mg of the medication. Have more lab work done after the medication was changed. Have more lab work done and i stopped by his office to let them know i was out of the medication. Take these reviews seriously. I have been to 20+ doctors in the last couple years and this was by far the worst experience of all. After having my primary care doctor refer me for hashimotos, Mr Chin informed me that if I wanted to follow up with the nodule on my thyroid that it needed to be done by my primary doctor. He also believes that labs from over a year ago don't need to be updated. I was able to get my tsh checked and even that wasnt easy to get out of him. If I could give zero stars, I would. He spent 15 minutes shooting statistics and another 15 criticizing tests order by primary care physician. He had no concern and was very dismissive of the growing knot on my sister's neck that is affecting her swallowing. They should give you your payment back and gas money for wasting your time at checkout. I am amazed that this man has any returning patients.

He is very rude, dismissive, and short. My daughter presented with thyroid issues his only care was if she had cancer. Once it was determined not to be cancer, he could care less. He did no further testing to see what her thyroid problem is " he was like go back to your PCM." You're the specialist Sir why should we have to see someone else? He did not listen to my daughter and I was a firsthand witness to it. I even called him out about not giving her all the information about medication to make a informed decision. Working ... read more
