Dr. Chang has changed my life for the best! The entire UCSF staff is amazing and goes above and beyond for their patients. HIGHLY recommended.
I recently had surgery with Dr. Chang and his team, and I couldn't be more happy. From the pre-operative consultations to post-surgery care, everything was handled with incredible empathy and professionalism. The surgery itself was complex, but Dr. Chang performed it efficiently, ensuring I had the best chance for a good recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Chang and his team for anyone needing surgical care. They combine expertise with a compassionate approach, making a potentially stressful experience much easier to navigate.
Dr. Chang does not walk on water, his feet go down about 2”, but what he did for me was a miracle. Our initial call was very revealing. He showed me specifically where my pain was from a MRI, and how he could fix it. He then made good on his promise. After I had a chance to recover, he followed up to make sure everything was good. Dr. Chang has very good GUI (bedside manner). He is also blessed by having a tremendous team around him. I will definitely recommend him. Sorry I don’t have any pictures.
Dr Chang, NP Genevieve Smith and his team have saved and changed my life Twice! I have Bi-lateral Trigeminal Neuralgia , and he did a very successful Gamma Knife Surgery on the left side of my face 3 years ago- No pain on left side since then! The meds I was taking to control the pain on my right side no longer were working, and Dr. Chang gave me, my wife and family the Best Christmas gift ever! Dr. Chang and his team are phenomenal. They are highly specialized in neurology, and I've heard Dr. Chang is likely the best neurosurgeon in the country. They are professional and skilled. I was lucky enough to be here in the Bay Area where I had access to them. Many thanks to Dr. Chang and all the wonderful staff who support him.
