Great experience with Dr Carew via TytoCare’s device and application. I had really bad congestion and he prescribed the needed multiple meds to get it cleared up quickly so it wouldn’t turn into anything worse like pneumonia.
Dismissed My Pain Symptoms Told me I wasn’t having kidney problems through Teladoc when that was exactly the case. Told him that my urinary issues were causing back problems and he tried to counteract my statement by saying that maybe I threw out my back while doing something. I told him that wasn’t so and he chose to not help me and told me to go to urgent care. Would not recommend if you want someone to take your pain seriously.
I met with Dr Carew via Teledoc for a respitory illness due to an allergic reaction. He listened to me and didn't just assume I had the flu; he correctly diagnosed my illness and prescribed me the necessary medications to address. He was very professional and empathetic, yes he was direct and to the point, but I needed a diagnosis and medications, I was ill and didn't want to waste time in needless conversation. I highly recommend Dr Carew.
Dr. Carew is a bit rude and confrontational. He needs to work on his people skills. His attitude improved a little after I stood my ground but still unacceptable.
