Horrible experience with the fellow that needs more supervision before performing scleral depression. The worst experience ever. Gentle procedure? More like trauma. From having no retinal tear, you will probably get one from this horrible experience. Dr Navajas is great as always, but I will not be going through this preliminary exam from his rude, and no bedside manner trainee again.

Do not let the middle eastern incompetent Fellow perform scleral depression. The moron stabs the tool around the eye with absolutely no skill. I had this done many times by opthal. and none had felt this painful. And in the end, Navajas went off on the god dam images and told me even the dam optometrist can diagnose this. Its been 3 days since the appt and my eyes is worst since seeing that stupid Fellow. Healthcare in this country is going downhill fast.
This was only a pre operative appt. But I was so pleased with how everything went that I needed to send in a review. Everyone knew their jobs and had all Information ready for the dr. prior to my meeting Dr. Navajas. I am from out of town and can honestly day that there was nothing stressful about the visit. It has been a year and I have had my eye surgery, absolutely no discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Navajas and his staff for your eye care. He is also highly regarded by my Ophthalmologist.
Grateful for Dr. Navajas and his entire team for their work. Came in from a referral about a retinal detachment. They booked me for surgery the next day. Stayed up until 4am to perform it AND came into the clinic to do a checkup hours later.
