My mom had an appointment with Dr Navajas and I accompanied her. The doctor himself was OK, but there was a girl who examined my mom’s eyes right before the doctor did, not sure if she was a student/intern or an assistant (a very young Indian girl). She didn’t show any respect, she was very short, aggressive and impatient about the instructions, whenever my mom didn’t understand she would raise her voice. I’ve had a lot of eye issues in my life, and I have to say that Dr. Navajas is by far the most comforting and professional when it comes to taking the time to treat you like an individual. After examining me for what I was in there for he asked me if there was anything else that I wanted to know. This is a far cry from other eye doctors I’ve dealt with who just treat you like a number and get you out as quick as possible. I highly recommend this man.
One of the best surgeons in Canada he has saved my brother Jimmys eyesight as best he could and we are very thankful. Six surgeries going on seven possibly, the surgeon is absolutely not afraid to think outside the box brilliantly smart man thank you.
Dr. Navajis is my ophthalmologist looking after me as I navigate my way through the fears and changes of my Macutlar degeneration journey. He patiently explains things to me, assures me that he will be happy to see me if I find any new changes that were not anticipated. His staff is well matched to himself. They are the kindest team of medical and office compliments to a place I am destined to be seeing ongoing for a long time.
My appointment was for an eye examination. Years ago I had an infection which damaged 1 eye and Dr. Navajas was the first to diagnose it correctly. During today's visit everyone was helpful, kind, and professional. Their work is 5 star. My only complaint (hence 4 stars instead of 5), and this is in no way a criticism of the doctor or his team, is that the Centre refused to arrange oxygen on site for me.
