I’ve seen Dr. Kerut over the years. He has a great bed side manor, he listens to your concerns and is very thorough. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Kerut is one of the best cardiologists in the city. He was able to diagnose my rare heart condition when several other cardiologists over 10 years could not. He made sure I received the treatment I needed, including referring me to outside specialists. He always takes the time to fully assess me, listen to me, explain everything to me, and makes sure I am a full participant in my plan of care.
Dr Kerut, has a sincere interest in me, and I assume all his patients. My cardiac issues are complicated and he directed me outside for the best surgery in the US, not the best local surgery. He has been my cardiologist for over six years and has been instrumental in keeping me focused on activities that keep me healthy. I don’t make health decisions, even for non cardiac issues, without consulting him. He is a trusted friend, much more than a doctor.
Dr. Kerut is an excellent cardiologist. He is patient with you and spends time with you. You never feel rushed. He always calms my nerves while caring for my husband. Dena in the coumadin clinic is also very good. They go out of their way to help you. I would recommend Dr. Kerut to anyone who is looking for a great cardiologist.
He has been my cardiac care specialist for many, many years. I feel very comfortable and welcome in his presence. He listens to my concerns and we discuss options as if we are part of a team working together. He has been with me through several serious episodes and I remain alive and well to talk about it. Over the course of my experience with the Heart Clinic of Louisiana I have seen each and every cardiologist and I would still choose Dr. Kerut as my primary cardiac care physician.
Dr. Kerut was the attending Doctor at Ocshner after my Heart attack. I fell in love with his bedside manner an requested him to be my Cardiologist. Luckily he was accepting new patients. Dr. Kerut is blunt, to the point, and he tells you when you are wrong. But he does it with sincerity and compassion. You really get the feeling that he truly cares about you and your well being. I met Dr. Kerut at one of the scariest times of life. And I am truly glad i did. Count yourself lucky to be a patient
