I waited 8 months for my appointment and she canceled bc she was going out of town. Ok, this happens. Her office had the nerve to then tell me the next appointment would be in another 6 months. Absolutely ridiculous!
I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I want others to make informed decisions. I came in for a specific concern, but most of the appointment was spent on unrelated screenings, and the issue I came for was barely addressed.Dr. Milner advised me to take placebo pills once every 2–3 months to manage excessive bleeding, but the prescription she submitted contradicted that. I have been going to Dr. Milner since I was a late-teen, I am 27 now, and she's always made me feel very comfortable.
Dr. Milner is obviously a longtime gynecologist and I am sure she is of help to many women at different stages. However, when meeting with her about HRT and whether I should continue it, I feel she was not up to speed with the massively important and impactful estrogen is on a woman's health and sense of well-being. Including recent findings on the protective aspects of estrogen against dementia, heart disease, and colon cancer. Amazing, kind and competent.
Today I learned that Dr. Milner has left the practice in Ithaca. I am beyond devastated. She was one of the most compassionate, intelligent, and highly skilled doctors I have ever seen in my 67 years. There are no words to express how much I will miss her extraordinary medical care, good humor and compassion.
Doctor Milner is a very friendly and caring physician. She never stints on time and is careful to thoroughly explain her medical decisions. Her practice is flawless.
She has left the obgyn associates. She was amazing
Dr. Milner explained everything about my care really clearly & took tons of time to address my concerns. She was compassionate & treated me like a partner in my own care.
