Extremely impressed with Dr Doug Samuel. Very informative doctor with a wonderful manner. He has a compassionate approach and his communication is exceptional. I am very grateful for the excellent care and expertise provided by Dr Samuel.
Avoid. My first conversation ever with him entailed 2 mins, then he had to call me back. Called me back some time later. That was fine, but then afte rspeaking to him after 2 mins and one of his first concerns was whether you had private health insurance or not (I do), then directs how he deals with you and how quickly he can see you. Our appointments were very short in length, he doesn't have much doesn't have a very empathetic nature at all, but if he got results, that wouldn't have been a problem. Dr Douglas Samuel is the best gastrointestinal specialist I have ever seen in Sydney , he is amazing , extremely caring, very professional, he spends time to listen to you and will go through every and each details of your health issues and will give you the best advice and the best treatment.
