I had a horrible experience with thyroid surgery back in October of 2025 with Dr Sorensen. I cannot in good faith recommend him to anyone. I went in for a lobectomy because he confidently told me they caught the cancer early. Woke up from surgery with full thyroid and lymph node removals. I was so grateful that surgery was done and I could recover despite the outcome. Three hours later I developed a hematoma and was rushed back to a second surgery. 30 minute wait when calling this office....
I have to agree with the previous reviewer - Dr Sorensen most likely saved my life as well. It has been over two years since he operated and I am still cancer free and living a full life and enjoying my retirement. He was very pleasant and importantly, performed the operation in a timely manner before the cancer spread to other lymph nodes. He is, in my opinion, a very skilled surgeon. My wife and I will always be very grateful. Thanks Doc!
Dr Sorensen saved my life I have ultimate respect for his skill and compassion- I can’t say enough wonderful words to describe him! He treated my friends n family ( after my surgery- with unbounded love concern n respect! ) I saw him on a Wednesday- HE scheduled my surgery on Friday- I was ( unknowingly stage 3 tongue cancer) no one would see me for at least!!!!
