Dr. Kovatch is ... simply ... great! I've only been to one other psychiatrist before in my life and she was arrogant, negative & judgmental. I ran out of that office! Well, Dr. Kovatch is the exact opposite. After talking to him you'll just feel better ... like everything is going to be okay. You're not sure what he said or did, but somehow you know you matter in this world. I believe not only is he a 'super shrink', but he actually genuinely cares about his fellow human beings. He is a good man.
I’ve been seeing mental health professionals for about 10 years now, I did not always have great experiences with women psychiatrist and decided to see a male psychiatrist. Dr. Kovach has hands-down, been the most professional, the most kind the most compassionate and sympathetic psychiatrist I have ever met. He really takes the time to understand all of the details, and he always remembers them no matter how much time has passed between each appointment. I had many physical issues messing me up mentally and all Dr.Kovach could offer was his sympathy, nothing changing in my medications. I saw a doctor in Riverview who first visit prescribed vraylar which changed everything dramatically for the better. Kovach should have recognized my medications were not taking care of my mental health.
