I have been going to Dr. Cancel since 2018 and he is absolutely the best sports medicine doctor ever. I travel over an hour to see him and it’s well worth it. He has helped me repair my back issues. I can always count on his knowledge and hands to get me better anytime I am in pain. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting a speedy recovery.
Dr. Cancel treated me for a couple of issues that came up during my training for the Oakland Half Marathon. Thanks to his care, I was able to run without pain and start and finish the race feeling strong. I appreciated that he didn’t just treat my symptoms, he also took the time to explain how to prevent these issues from coming back and what to do if they do. I finished my race in 1 hour and 54 minutes, a personal best!
What a great find Dr. Cancel and Dana have been! I came into their office with shooting sharp pains in my shoulder. I had been to one physical therapist and also to Kaiser to their physical therapist and was still in pain months later. Dr. Cancel came highly recommend From two different people that I know. Doug is a Great Doctor and Great Guy. He took the time to understand the specifics related to my condition and discuss a comprehensive plan to work through it.
