2 minutes ago New I saw Dr Smith because my HR kept going to 180 for over an hour. While I was hooked up for BP/HR reading, I heard him dictating notes in his office next door. He put in wrong symptoms & DOB, came back in and told me my BP/HR was in normal range and said my EKG showed a healthy heart. Then proceeded to discharge me and tell me he could pay his rent 10x’s over, with the people coming to him who wear sports watches! With a smirk! Dr. Douglas Smith Sr. How a doctor should be. Knowledgeable, kind, intuitive, trusting. Not afraid to diagnose and provide it to patients. He should be considered an example for the large percentage of his lesser than colleagues that get paid too much and do too little.
