I've gone to Dr. Merritt for over 20 yrs. I really don't know what I'm going to do when she decides to retire. She shows so much compassion. She listens to you and understands your needs. She's concerned about her patients. She's there if you need her after business hours. She's just a wonderful doctor and you don't find that often. I've worked in the medical field almost 30 years and I don't see this level of care often. Dr. Merritt, you are greatly appreciated!

I've been going to Doctor Dorothy Merritt on an off for over 30 years ( usually because of my health insurance coverage " Being the only reason I didn't have her as my Primary care Physician" had to have been the only reason she wasn't my PCP at all times!!! I absolutely love her. If I could give Dr. Merritt 10 stars I would! She is the best Dr in Galveston County hands down. I am so happy that she does telemed appointments because I can’t always leave work to see her. She accommodates my schedule and squeezes me in on my break or lunch break. I love going to her new office, too! It’s so clean, modern and staffed with great people! They make the whole process from front desk to check out so seamless and everyone is so kind and helpful.

I love Dr. Merritt she is the best. She really cares and listens.I have been seeing her since 2009. She always treats you as a person not just a patient. She goes out of her way to find out what your health issue is and does her best to help. I cannot say enough about what a good Dr. she is. I was so disappointed when she left the clinic in Dickinson . So glad she is back. I have always had a mistrust in Dr. but from day one I felt very comfortable with Dr. Merritt.
