Dr. Lee is knowledgeable and excellent with his work. Friendly, listens to the patient and answers any concerns you have.
The office runs very smoothly and everyone is very friendly, which is hard to come by these days. Dr Lee's PA, Denise, is very competent and thorough. Dr Lee, while reductionistic, was accommodating to my situation in providing flexible options for diagnostics and treatments. He is one of few doctors who will acknowledge SIBO as a real thing.
Dr. Lee was very professional, he went through my medical history, caught some things that I missed and developed and plan for my health care. The visit and procedure went flawless. I will be returning for future care and know my health is in good hands with Dr. Lee. Thank you.
My husband was hospitalized for five days after a colonoscopy performed by Gastroenterology Associates of Fredericksburg’s Dr. Dong Lee, MD due to severe internal bleeding. A different procedure had to be performed at the hospital by another doctor to stop the bleeding. During that time, my husband’s H&H levels, red cell count, blood pressure all dropped, and he required IV iron injections; with discussion from doctors of possibly needing blood transfusions. Great bedside manner and always follows up by phone himself to make sure you're doing well and your questions are answered.
Dr. Lee is upbeat and positive. He looks at all the options and with me didn't push to have something done immediately. "We have time." is what I remember he said.
Dr. Lee is SO AMAZING! He has the BEST bedside manner. He actually takes the time to LISTEN to you he wants to know who you are not only as a patient but as a person as well. He takes the time to answer any and all questions that you have and explains, in detail, everything about your procedure including the risks etc ??
My husband just recently had his second appointment & colonoscopy with Dr. Lee - he is a wonderful physician & has an awesome bed-side manner - he's the best - thank you for allowing us to comment.
