Cannot get the care I need because all Dr. Baseman care about is his ego. Extremely arrogant and barely gives you the time you need. He has the qualities that are not compatible with doctors. Stay away and find yourself a caring doctor who puts their patients first, not their ego.
My wife and I met with Dr Baseman to discuss an issue. We found the Dr to be extremely arrogant with a high ego He was not shy about telling us how successful he was. He stayed flatly that we should be happy to wait 30 min or more because he is so successful The Dr went on to say (exact words) Our issue "boardered on being irrelevant ". If you are looking for a Dr who is arrogant, has no respect for your time, and feels your issues are irrelevant than Dr Baseman is the Dr for you.
I have found Dr. Baseman to be exactly the physician I wanted. He is detail oriented, concerned and willing to refer when needed. His logical approach led to better prescription choices and his emphasis on healthy lifestyle choices reduced the need for medication. I want blunt, honest answers and he delivers. I have recommended him with great success to several friends.
I have always found him pleasant, concerned and able to give proper care.
In 6 visits to Dr. Baseman I only saw him for no longer than 10 minutes total. Almost all of my visits were done by his nurse practitioner. If you want t see a doctor go somewhere else. The remaining parts of this survey are related to the treatment that I received from his nurse practitioner.
I will admit the wait was long. However, in my opinion, well worth the wait. Dr. Baseman is very thorough.
I was kept waiting far too long to see the doctor. Clerical workers used to give patients injections, take blood pressure and vitals. Clerical worker did not use gloves when giving injections. Dr. Baseman needs to read his patient's history before meeting with the patient, not reviewing it while sitting in front of patient. Although he seems to be very through, he really needs to hire experienced medical workers to assists in his practice.
Dr. Donald Baseman has a 3.7 star rating with 38 reviews.
