Dr. Heacock is an exceptional physician. His outpatient center in Macon (Gastro South) does a great job too. Highly recommend!
My experience has been great and knowledgeable of what my stomach problems.
I have a doctorate in Public Health so warning others is due to having compassion for community health needs. I wish I could give 0 stars. I was referred by my PCP to Dr. Heacock. I had my consultation in mid 2022 with the nurse practitioner. My colonoscopy was scheduled a couple of months later with the scheduler. COSTLY!!!! Charging extremely over what the insurance covers is HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! I told THE REAL KAREN THIS then she proceeds to tell me well he could have charged you $10,000. Did you hear yourself the REAL KAREN? No wonder someone got upset with UHC Prez!!!! Insurance and Doctors are a complete JOKE! The reason these doctors charge people with insurance so much more than insurance covers is so that those without insurance bills are paid through those of us that have insurance!!!!
