Had cataract surgey with Dr Repke on 12 March 2019. Fabulous doctor, very informative, great bedside manner and considerate. Going in for cataract surgery on the other eye 2 April 2019. He was rated very high in the Cigna system and I recommend him to anyone considering cataract surgery.
Needed a form filled out from the Driver License. Dr . restricted to day time driving only and did not offer to check refraction to improve acuity. Another Dr said yes refraction can be improved and it was but waited one year to be lifted off restriction. This is not a confidence builder for a patient. Would not recommend this Dr.
Wife is his receptionist and she is very nice. However, this is a small operation and Dr. Repke did not seem to have the proper equipment to properly measure my eyes for cataract surgery. I got a poor result because he put in wrong strength. He did not tell me that this surgery could have been redone if within one month of original surgery. Now it is too late because of scar tissue. My left eye vision is 20/30 and my right eye is 20/50. know people who love him, but I would not recommend him.
Serious problems with billing. Credit card number for payment was transposed by staff and I got another bill for a service I thought I had paid for. The office called and explained, I paid again, and months later I got another bill for the same service. The office refused to send me detailed backup to compare to my insurance, bank, and credit card bills. Dr. Repke has a friendly manner, willingly explains everything & answers your questions in an easy, understandable way.
They don't come better than Dr. Reina! My eldest is now 21, & still sees Dr. Reina (and doesn't want to switch). My other boy is 13. Have seen Dr. Reina, Dr. Donald Pitisci (now retired, but his son is there - we haven't seen him), and Dr. Robyn Jacobson & they were all wonderful. The only one I didn't like was Dr. Pesce (rude & condescending). Dr. Reina is kind, caring, and listens. DR REINA IS THE BEST!! HE HAS SEEN MY SON SINCE HE WAS A FEW DAYS OLD AND HAS TAKEN GREAT CARE AND ATTENTION TO WHATEVER HE IS IN THE OFFICE FOR. I REFER HIM TO ALL MY FRIENDS FOR THEIR KIDS!!!!
Dr Reina has been primary dr for both my kids for the past 8 years (along with Dr Pitisci). Very helpful, very patient with the kids (and me) and very, very knowledgable.
Dr. Reina is helpful, patient and beyond knowledgable. He was my doctor when I was a kid, and I'm so thankful to have my son see him as well.
