I put off seeing a psychiatrist for four years because I was convinced I could handle the depression myself but by the time I called Dr. Ditzell I was not handling it. He didn't make me feel weak for waiting so long, didn't make me feel like a case file, and the medication management he put together actually worked after months of trying things that hadn't. Still a little embarrassed it took me that long to ask for help. Not embarrassed about where I am now.

As a health care professional myself I understand the challenges of finding competent mental health care providers. I was honestly shocked at how caring, compassionate, and competent Dr. Jeff was. He was honest and knowledgeable about diagnoses and medications. He answered all of my questions without rushing. I clearly understand the treatment plan.

Tried three depression doctors before finding Dr. Ditzell. The others felt like they were managing a checklist while he felt like he was listening. That sounds small but when you’re already struggling it’s actually everything.

I receive such great mental health care from dr Jeff, who has helped and continues to help one of my children with their anxiety. He is always there for us and easy to schedule
