Dr. Pikaart is a knowledgeable and caring physician. He spends as much time as necessary with each patient--he spent over an hour with me at my first visit. Thus, he may run late for other patient appointments. My experience with him was very good and his office staff and PA are great. So glad that he is here in Colorado Springs.
He was 35 minutes late for my surgery ( I was the first surgery of the day ), he gave me a consent for a surgery much more extensive than I expected ( he thought he had reviewed it with me at my most recent app't but he was on vacation that week ), and he did not visit me after my surgery. When I had my post-op visit in his office, he didn't see me or even acknowledge me as I walked right by him. His staff is great, top notch. Tina is phenomenal. She's personable, easy to talk to and she truly listens. Appointments with her are like visiting a friend. She hands down the favorite doc I've ever had.
on the day of surgery he FORGOT what surgery he was doing, one nurse made a comment how unprofessional he was, five weeks after surgery my bladder explodes! try to make a follow up appointment with him, THEY WONT SCHEDULE ME!!!! THEY WONT EVEN SEE ME, I am going elsewhere to be seen. Please if yo have to see an oncologist.....go to someone else... It is difficult to put into words how truly amazing Dr. Pikaart and his staff are. He is the most sincere and caring doctor I have ever seen in my life. He takes the time to thoroughly explain everything to you and answer all your questions, not once did I ever feel rushed or bothersome. The staff there are extremely friendly and supportive, they have always been happy to help me with any situation that arose. Had been going to him for years. Customer service has declined tremendously in the last couple of years. He does okay, but very brisk in his time with you and doesn't answer questions clearly. I could put up with that, but his office staff and follow-up is terrible. For me and members of my family they have not followed up with lab work, paperwork, etc EVEN when there was pertinent information that could have an impact on ones health. PIKAART, STACEY BRACKEN IS NOW DEAD. GET READY. Remember Her? The one you knew nothing about how to help her. The family hated you and your bs nonchalant altitude to my wives cancer. None of us trusted to you, you threntred to walk away and not be her doc. WHO DOES THAT! We'd go days not seeing YOU just your nurses who couldn't/wouldn't help us. Dr. Clothier is the most competent physician I have ever met. He really takes time to get to know his patients and is kind and funny. He is extremely knowledgeable about medicine and truly cares about his patients.
Should not refer patients for major surgeries he knows nothing about, his advice leaves people emotionally and physically crippled
