I saw Dr. Hogan for severe hip pain. She recommended a cortisone shot and six weeks of physical therapy. After completion, I am much improved. Dr. Hogan is very thorough and did everything possible to help me. If I have more problems I will see her again. I would definitely recommend her.
Dr. Hogan has been treating me for hip pain for several years (OA). When conventional treatments were no longer effective I opted for hip replacement. I was happy that Dr. Hogan was going to be the surgeon (based on my experience with her and her outstanding reputation in New England). I can’t say enough how professional and squared away she is. I was impressed with Dr Murthi. He studied my past and present tests, He showed me what my back and spine looked like on a model. He gave me options to my recovery. We agreed to try physical therapy and some medication first.
Dr. Hogan is exactly what personifies a modern physician in my mind … very well-educated, relevant experience, obviously quite interested in the patient, communicative, very personable and a real problem solver.
Dr. Hogan is one of the best out there. Thorough and thoughtful, lets you go at your own pace, while presenting all the best practices options.
