Been coming to this office for a few weeks now love the staff and doctor kessaris very nice and professional
A big shout out to Richard and the whole staff at Dr. Kessaris office they were very nice and friendly with me as a patient and with my wife they answered all our questions thank you so much for your attention.
My father was a doctor who practiced medicine quite successfully for 50 years and my grandfather was a pharmacist. I even considered becoming a patient advocate. I went to Dr. Kessaris's in the Astoria. By far, THE most disgusting office I've ever been in. The staff at the front desk was cold but efficient. When they called me to the examining room they asked me to lie down and unzip my pants. I hadn't even met the doctor yet. They were going to do some kind of test or scan or something. I
Dr. Kessaris is all about endless tests and never seemed able to find any solutions for my condition.
Business response:
We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. In order to be able to treat a patient properly, a thorough evaluation of the patient and their health is necessary. Unfortunately, answers don't always come quickly but I can assure you patience and narrowing down possibilities is a tried and true way to find an answer. We are happy to assist you in any way possible. We wish you all the best in your care.
Was my Doctor for couple of years until i realize that he was doing unnecessary tests. I talked to my primary doctor about it and she told me to go to another doctor because what he was doing didn't made any sense. multiple invasive tests per year (cystoscopys ) In my new doctor for 5 years i had no invasive tests other than digital routine exams
I had a very great experience with Dr. Dimitri Kessaris and the staff from the very start of my consultation till the prolieve procedure done.
I caught him on a bad day, I guess. He misread my test results and told me I might have cancer. I later caught the error but couldn't get ahold of him for a few days. I didn't appreciate that his receptionist (Astoria branch) wouldn't show me my records so I could confirm I was healthy. When he finally got back to me he wanted to schedule a follow-up, despite the tests results all being good. That being said, I do think he's knowledgeable. Maybe overworked like a lot in the medical field.
This "doctor" should not be practicing anymore. He does not show any compassion or care for his patients and is only greedy for the money. My initial evaluation with Dimitri lasted 2 minutes when I waited 1.5 hours to see him. He did not make eye contact with me, instead was only checking off tests he was ordering for me WITHOUT taking my history, chief complaint and family medical history. He simply did not care how I was feeling. I am never going back there and will never recommend him.
Dr.Kessaris is a good doctor. He listens well and explains the situation and the results. The office is well organized and good service with a short waiting time. They quickly respond to you.
