Everyone at this office was helpful. And Dr. Tovar Quiroga displays an extraordinary level of compassion plus expertise. Very unusual for our current time.
He's nice but his care quality has gone downhill. If your neurological issue is complicated and need a doctor that will take charge in helping you- This doctor is not that doctor. He'll need a lot of direction, and you won't feel as though he's covering all the bases.
Dr. Tovar was serving as the hospitalist on the neuro floor at St. David's when I was admitted for acute onset seizure activity in 2020. I was immediately impressed with his thoroughness, compassion and exceptional bedside manner. I was able to continue my follow up care with Dr. Tovar upon discharge, and I'm incredibly grateful to have had him overseeing my case, especially during those first few months. Hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. Unstoppable compassion, incredibly capable, integrity, and put me first always. Great empathy. I don't think I could have gone through my Epilepsy struggles without him! He should teach all doctors bedside manners and altruism. I cannot say enough about Dr. Tovar!
