I miss her so much! When I heard of her passing it was like loosing a parent or a loved one, Diane was one of the only people who knew me. She treated me in my early adult life and helped me to understand so much about myself. Several times over the course of my adult life I had reached out to her to ask for help and was told she had changed her practice to only see women. Seen her for a short while, right off the bat pushed me into speaking about things i wasnt ready too & she decided to close my file bc i cancelled an appointment while i was in labour with my daughter and didnt contact back soon enough. trust me that was the last thought on my mind having to learn to be a new mom, maybe if your patients have a lot on there plate you should reach out to them not close there file without telling anyone.
I saw her for a year. If you were severely depressed, she would definitely push you over the edge. She is a pill pusher; extremely full of herself; demanding and calls down the Mental Health Care system in Thunder Bay. If you don't follow through with what she suggests, she gets VERY angry! This woman SHOULD NOT be practicing Psychiatry! I had a previous psychiatrist who was empathic, professional and caring through tele-medicine so I know the difference from good n bad.
