I and my family have seen Dr Mcginty a few times for root canals. I find her very honest and good at what she does. In fact my son was seen by her because the dentist said he needed a root canal and when she looked she said he didn't need one. That was extremely honest of her. I would recommend her to everyone I know.
was referred by my DMD for an emergency same day root canal for a tooth that abscesses. Got there and though I was expecting treatment, was told it couldn't start until mid Aug. Was in extreme pain and when my DMD called later in day to check on me, she told me they said I had declined treatment because I wanted to have tooth pulled. WRONG! If so, why did McGinty's office set up appt times for treatment in Aug? They flat out lied.
I was in severe pain evidently from an infection. Dr. McGinty was quick, efficient, professional, and took care of my immediate issues with minimal distress.
Consultation was less than 5 minutes Dr. McGinty told me didn't know what to do for my situation asked another doctor to look at this and said she would follow up. Upon leaving office rep said since I was there for such a short period of time Dr. McGinty is very fair and probably wouldn't even bill me if my insurance didn't cover consultation. Never received follow up, billed $88, when I called for explanation rep was rude, talked over me, and just AWFUL! Don't waste your time or money here!!
