I was referred to Dr. Cox for stage 0, DCIS breast cancer. Every provider with whom I communicated was upbeat about my recovery: several radiologists, my personal gynecologist and Dr. Cox. When I went for my post-op visit, I felt as if I had ice water thrown at me. I needed a second surgery. She didn’t get clean margins. The second surgery she was successful. Extremely personable; explains conditions and procedures thoroughly and maintains a level of optimism appropriate for the situation; will spend as much time as necessary to ensure patient is comfortable with information; one of the best doctors I've had encountered.

Dr. Cox is amazing! Had to have emergency gall bladder surgery; Dr. Cox was quick and efficient, I had minimal down time and was able to get right back to life. Awesome bed side manner, takes her time and really cares.

Dr. Cox performed breast cancer surgery on me. She is one of the nicest doctors I've ever met, and has a way of making you feel confident and cared for that is so helpful and needed during a difficult time. She spends enough time with you and completely answers your questions. Her assistant is also friendly and helpful. I am glad my referring doctor sent me to her.

At my first prenatal appointment my doctor found a lump in my breast that needed to be removed. I was referred to Dr. Cox. I was a complete basket case but Dr. Cox's inviting and laid back personality immediately put me at ease. She was encouraging and comforting throughout the experience and even humorous at times when I needed a laugh. My surgery went great. Dr. Cox is the total package: a skilled and knowledgeable doctor with a friendly and comforting bedside manner. I highly recommend her!!
