She was very thorough and informative very nice. Was very happy how the visit went.
I have been seeing this Dr for almost 2 years, She does not listen at ALL!!!!!!! I will tell her my symptoms, she blows me off, doesn't investigate any to figure out a plan, very lazy especially for being a "specialist". I have tried VERY hard to give her a chance, but wow what a major let down. When you send her a message thru patient portal, it's never her who replies, always an assistant who doesn't do anything, your questions never get answered. She send labs to wrong addresses. I was in a diabetic drug study at UF for over a year and met Dr. Barb whenever the study nurse had a question about my health. I would go to UF about every 6 weeks. They did a lot of blood tests, etc. each visit...whenever something didn't look right, the nurse would call and it was usually Dr. Barb who would come in. She was very thoughtful and knowledgeable whenever I spoke to her. If I didn't already have a very good endocrinologist, I would have certainly tryed to start seeing her.
This doctor does NOT listen to her patients. I went to Shands to see her about finding out if I have a specific disease and a possible treatment plan to better my life and living conditions. She condescended to me... asked me where did I "get the list of symptoms"... I am LIVING WITH THE DISEASE AND SYMPTOMS!!! Because she got the wrong type of referral from my family doctor's office, she wouldn't even call my primary for an updated referral... I've taken months to get to this appointment only to be treated by a disbelieving... read more
