Thought he was a good doc but turns out if you are stressed and anxious about surgery and are having a bad day 2 days before surgery and are worried about the pain after, get frustrated if they can't help, he drops you. No phone call. Nope, I get a letter the day after surgery saying he is dropping me.
Dr. Peck performed the Iovera procedure before my Total Left Knee Replacement Surgery February 7, 2024. He was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He spent lots of time answering all my questions. The procedure was a complete success. Because of the procedure I experienced very minimal post operative pain, used less pain medication and was able to perform all of my physical therapy effectively. My orthopedist referred me to Dr. Peck to get me some pain relief before I got my knees replaced. My 1st appointment was fall 2022, he listened to me when I discussed what was going on, all of the other things I had tried before. He explained my options to me, was patient and answered my questions. His staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and Scarlet who is the anesthesiologist who assists when necessary is absolutely amazing. Extremely rude front office manager. She called me just a few hours before the surgery and told me that I have to pay out of pocket and when I questioned her why she didn’t tell me this before, particularly when the procedure was scheduled about 6 weeks back and why she had to sit on it for 6 weeks and tell me there’s a huge payment due right before the procedure, she threatened me that she will cancel the procedure if I insisted on knowing the reason for her poor work ethics…she just hung up.Terrible lady
Quite possibly the BEST pain doctor I have ever seen. I have seen many over the years, willing to continuously push drugs without ever really taking the time to investigate the origins of pain. Dr Peck took the time to understand where the pain was coming from. I had several different issues. He prescribed medication for relief but also offered other options.
