So disappointed. Dr Yap is a wonderful doctor, and I have always been happy with the care I received from her. Unfortunately, my experience with Sharon at reception has been consistently disappointing. I found her to be rude, disorganised and unhelpful, and unfortunately, this has completely overshadowed my otherwise positive experience with Dr Yap. It’s solely because of my experiences with reception that I won’t be returning to see Dr Yap, which is a real shame.
Dr Desiree Yap was recommended to me by a friend. When I called to find out the steps involved in getting an appointment the lady at the reception was short, unhelpful, and rude. I cannot understand why someone like that would be the first point of contact for a medical specialist clinic....no thanks! I'll be going somewhere else.
I honestly cannot recommend Dr Desiree Yap highly enough. Walking into appointments with me is not always simple — a long orthopaedic history that has made medical experiences feel overwhelming at times. But from the very first appointment, Dr Yap made me feel safe. She has this incredible way of making you feel heard, never rushed, and genuinely cared for as a person, not just a patient.
