My daughter went to Dr. Dawson to have a stye removed, Dr. Dawson never removed the stye from her eye, after I called the office to inform the staff of the stye still being there he had his staff to tell me he had to refer her to someone else because his machine wasn't working, I was very dissatisfied with the level of care and/or service I received considering a physician with pride or care would have called me personally if he cared about his pts. Dr. Dawson is AMAZING!!!!!! The staff is also very warm and professional....my daughter came in and was a patient, she’s a teenager and has an ulcer in her right cornea... Dr. Dawson made sure she was very comfortable and has worked with not only my daughter but also myself to get my daughter back to great health. We TRULY appreciate him and his staff....I will recommend to EVERYONE... THANKS AGAIN
The office employees are incompetent. They tried to double charge me, told me incorrectly what my insurance would cover, lost the receipt for my payment, ordered my glasses incorrectly, lost my glasses order, and didn't call when there were insurance issues - they waited until I came in to ask me for double what I originally paid. The doctor didn't check my eye health and I wasn't given trial contacts to make sure the prescription was correct before ordering. Save your sanity, go elsewhere.
Dr. Derek Dawson is absolutely "AMAZING"! I accidentally cut my cornea with an envelope and was experiencing severe discomfort! A well known doctor in Chicago was unable to resolve my issue. Dr. Dawson, who mind you is up to date on ALL of the latest techniques, told me that we were going to try a new procedure which I am confident will cure your problem! It completely alleviated my discomfort and my eye has been pain free for over 20 years. Simply, THE BEST!!!!!!!!!
