No I could never recommend this Doctor. He totally was wrong about diagnoses and the treatment could have made me even sicker. Thank God I went to Northwestern for second opinion.
The office staff is excellent, and Dr. Rademaker listens to all of my concerns. They always get me in when I need an appointment. Please consider this office if you need to find an allergist. You will n to be disappointed.
I was told I needed Immunoglobulin transfusions which would run $10,000/mo. I asked for how long and the answer was the rest of my life. I was shocked and left the office. Promptly made appointment at Northwestern taking all of my sets of bloodwork for the specialists to look at. The doctor and the Fellow looked at all my records and for the life of them could not believe this was recommended. I was told this was not necessary and that I had excellent blood. I never went back!!!
Dr. Rademaker is a wonderful doctor. I trust my life with him and where ever he goes I follow
Excellent. Takes his time listens to all your concerns. Thoroughly explains everything & provides all your options. Great bedside manner.
I would not recommend anyone in their 20 to 30s see him. For some reason I was told to take my top off fully just to listen to my breathing. My father came in and was asked to leave and all he did was hear me breathe. My own primary has never had me do that. It was very uncomfortable and I will not be going back ever to see him. His staff were not very friendly either.
This is a very slow office. My daughter has bad allergies. Took over 2 months for an appointment. Doctor took 3 minutes and said she needed the test for shots. Took another month because they only do needle test once a week. She took the test. Said it would be 2-4 weeks to get serum made. They only have one person who comes in once a week to do this. That’s absurd. How can you run an allergy office without proper help. Called and left messages. Wrote to head office. Took 2 weeks for a reply.
Very patient and very caring.
Dr. Rademacher wanted to put my son on a very strong med at a very young age for mild asthma. I was not happy. We found another allergist and never went back. From what I have seen he tends to overmedicate.
