Not sure why all the odd negative reviews. I've been going here for over 3 years and have not had any issues. I switched from a previous dentist that was using old technology and couldn't get a filling to 'stick', then he burned my lip with acid trying to 'score the tooth to bond easier'. Long story short, there are terrible dentists and there are great dentists that take care of you and communicate well (text/email for apts). South Huron Dental appeared to be a good dentist office and I was excited about being able to patronize a minority owned business. At first glance the equipment appears to be state of the art and the staff was nice enough. But after several interactions with the Dr. Perkins it was evident that he was stacking his patients too close together and you will not receive quality care. These guys are friendly enough and appear to have some state of the art tech in there that looks all fancy, they'll make a computer record for your teeth and show you problems on screen, are friendly and have a good manner. They'll email and text you of appointments and up-sell you to all sorts of great products. But they can't do anything other than basic work - they can't even do a basic root canal in house, wouldn't call to set up an appointment for me (they made me call a place myself) and the place they recommended had ... read more
