I love that he has opening for “sick visits every day. My last doctor, if you called with a sinus infection they would say well we can see you next week.
Caring doc who loves his patients. None better
Waiting 1 hour. Met with dr for 10 min. Was my first visit. Poor bedside manner. He didn’t really seem to care about me. Didn’t even shake my hand. Left abruptly.
He is easy to approach, explains well and spends quality time in hearing your problems
One star only because no star is not an option. I needed a refill on my anxiety/depression/panic medication and Dr. D Sparks would not return calls or messages to the pharmacy. I went through horrific withdrawals which is dangerous both physically and mentally. If he wanted to evaluate me before refilling he should let that be known. But it's been 2 weeks and he has not returned my calls or calls from the pharmacy. This is so very dangerous......suicide dangerous.
I have been a patient of Dr. Sparks since I can remember going to the doctor - maybe 6 years old? I am 31 now and not only consider him a wonderful Doctor, but also a friend. He cares about all aspects of health and I highly recommend him if they are accepting new patients.
I've seen Dr Sparks for 2 years now mostly for my anxiety. I came to him physically sick on anxiety medicines that were controlling my life. His honesty is what ultimately helped me stop valium. He did what doctors before him couldn't. He treated my physical health, knew his limitations w/ my anxiety, encouraged mental health and told me the TRUTH. His inability to be my "friend" likely saved my life. He isn't your friend. He's your doctor. And he's a damn good one.
First time i took my son to see thi doctor, we waited for an half an hour in the waiting room. Meeting Dr. Sparks for the first time, he was different, he is strait forward and no bedside manner. His medical assistant is great. Yesterday I took my son to see the doctor and waited for an hour and 20 minutes, ridick! After my son was looked at, Sparks just walked out of the rooom, did not say bye, have a good day. Okay? Weirdo! Finding a new doctor. Hisfront office worker is about a ding bat!
Dr. Sparks made me feel like I was a freak when I sought his help/medical advice for depression and anxiety. He prescribed one medication. When i took it and experienced horrible side affects, I went back to the office to try another medication. He told me there was nothing he could do to help me, and told me I need to "learn to deal with" it. He told me I could see a therapist and that's all he could recommend. He also didn't follow up with me regarding a medical procedure he had done on me.
