We recently moved to Spring Grove and I was looking for a ophthalmologist. I saw where Dr. Kerchner was accepting new patients. I was impressed with how quickly I was taken back after arriving. Kim, the assistant, was very friendly and welcoming. I was further impressed with the thoroughness of Dr. Kerchner’s exam. I look forward to working with this office in the future.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Kercher. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and opted for the corrective implants that cost me a lot of money out of pocket. But now I only need reading glasses. My distance and mid range vision are great. She was careful to explain all of the possible scenarios ahead of time, and I did my research on the procedure , complications and expected results. I would highly recommend her for anyone considering cataract surgery.

I would not recommend Dr. Kerchner for cataract surgery with prescription lens implants. BOTH of my eyes were not corrected with the lenses she implanted, and after paying $1000.00 per eye (that insurance does not pay), and $350.00 per eye for the lenses, I could not see to drive or read. I had to get glasses and contacts to correct my vision so I could function. Dr. Kerchner told me, “laser is more exact” when I expressed my frustration to her at my final visit.
