I got my first excision laparoscopy with her and I felt like she did such a good job! I was pain free after and she helped worked with my Ivf doctor to preserve as much of my ovaries since I had two 6cm endometriomas that caused me so much pain! The best part is after surgery and right before my second round of Ivf I got pregnant naturally!! I believe she took out most of my Endo and I’m so glad that I found her when I really needed help!
It's very unfortunate that she is one of few endometriosis excision surgeons in the Bay Area. She was only able to give me a second opinion after a completely unnecessary $3000 MRI that she required. There are way more knowledgeable and competent surgeons out there than Dr. Lum.
She's the best! Took excellent care of me and is an expert in her field.
