Very hard to get a hold of this office, all calls to Primary Care of Silver Spring go straight to voicemail where they would take days to call back. Unable to view vaccination records that are not shown on the Helow app and there is no email to contact on the site. The email they provided is not responsive. This review is not for Dr. Bala as she is a very good doctor, it’s the staff and organization that needs work. The worst dentist I’ve ever encountered, hands down. Their whitening method failed horribly and on top of that they were trying to convince me that my teeth are white! My teeth were still dark and very sensitive! Also, Dr. Deepa didn’t know that you could whiten caps so she recommended for me to whiten my teeth elsewhere and then come back to her to get the crowns. The doctor is so nice. My mom likes this doctor but her staff is so rude. They talk to you in such a condescending manner. Rarely answer to phones or return phone calls. This seems to be a systemic problem with this office over the years. The automated prompt from English to Spanish is a mess. Not very audible.
Some time ago I had written a review and gave the practice 2 stars, mostly on account of rude staff. Much seems to have changed though in recent months — recent interactions with the staff have been much better. The doctor is excellent, as always — thorough, attentive, knowledgeable.
I've been going to Dr.Bala for over 10 years and she takes every concern seriously. She is a great and thorough doctor. I highly recommend her.
