I had a terrible experience with a staff by the name of Roxana (not even sure if that is real name) at this office. The initial medical receptionist (unfortunately I did not get her name) who asked for my name and number was polite and courteous. Rosana was very rude and condescending. My appt had been scheduled since March 3, 2026, for 5/15/26. When I called in March, I was advised Dr. Bala was on leave and she wouldn’t be accepting appts until May. Horrible experience. Beware. They will lie to take insurance money. I asked mutliple times if they needed additional xrays even though I provided xrays from my doctor. They quoted me a price, but once they saw I had good insurance they said, oh its ok the insurance company will cover it. I let them know I did not want that bc I have major dental work to do this year. They then changed their tune and said everything was covered under the $99, only for them to bill my insurance $400 depleting my insurance for the year. Shame o... read more
Very hard to get a hold of this office, all calls to Primary Care of Silver Spring go straight to voicemail where they would take days to call back. Unable to view vaccination records that are not shown on the Helow app and there is no email to contact on the site. The email they provided is not responsive. This review is not for Dr. Bala as she is a very good doctor, it’s the staff and organization that needs work. The worst dentist I’ve ever encountered, hands down. Their whitening method failed horribly and on top of that they were trying to convince me that my teeth are white! My teeth were still dark and very sensitive! Also, Dr. Deepa didn’t know that you could whiten caps so she recommended for me to whiten my teeth elsewhere and then come back to her to get the crowns.
