After trying to find a good doctor, I finally found Dr Weiss. She takes her time with you, getting to know you, and treats you like a human. She doesn't rush you out or undermine you, she listens to your concerns and she offers alternatives when solving problems. She's not just an amazing doctor, she's a really sweet person and I'm so fortunate to have found her!
I’ve been coming to Dr Weiss for over 2 years. Her front desk staff can usually be seen having private conversations right at the front desk, laughing and not paying full attention to the patient in front of them. I initially went to Dr Weiss complaining of right sided abdominal pain. She ran no tests, but instead referred me to her colleague, Richard Fried, a gastro in the same building. I have spoken with the staff/nurses multiple times over the last couple of months. I’ve even asked her staff to have Dr. Weiss call me. They continued, to deny the medicine I need to maintain my health. I’ve explained multiple times why I can’t come in for my physical at this time and if they could please refill my prescription until I can see the doctor in December (which is only six weeks away). Dr. Weiss is the best. I have been her patient for over 10 years and have followed her from Huntington to Greenlawn and now finally to Smithtown. Although I still live in Huntington, my visits are well worth the trip. She is very knowledgeable, thorough and pleasant to be around. I am grateful to have her for any health concerns as well as for my yearly wellness visits.
Horrible! She shouldn't even call her self a doctor! Go somewhere else! Plenty of well knowledged and caring doctors elsewhere.
