I went to see her about the swelling in my ankle, twice. She told me it was arthritis from an xray, and there was nothing she could do. Well she was wrong, I went to another more knowledgeable doctor and they immediately recognized it as a torn tendon. I had an MRI and sure enough it was not only torn, but the tendon next to it was tangled with it. I needed surgery. Great experience, knowledgeable, kind and took the time to explain condition and outcome. Highly recommend.
Dr. Castaneda did not listen to my symptoms or closely observe my ankle and lower leg during treatment. Thus, she made two very significant errors in the diagnosis (one which was life threatening--a blood clot) She preferred to look at the xray, MRI and laptop screens rather than my ankle.
